Special Use Permit Case Number WSUP17-0014 (Gail Willey)

    Gail Willey, owner of Gail Willey Landscaping and Color Rock, has requested a Special Use Permit to relocate his businesses to 134 Andrew Lane in Pleasant Valley. This request would relocate a Heavy Industrial Business into a General Rural area and is not in conformance with the Washoe County Development Code and Master Plan.  The request includes three large buildings, sixty parking places (40 for heavy equipment), and bins to store landscaping materials, and wholesale nursery items.The project will generate an estimated 312 daily trips. The proposed business location is in a flood plain and would create many adverse effects on the rural residences nearby.
